She angrily tells him that she didn’t want to tell him because he would have tried to get the diary back for her as he promised that he would. That’s why she didn’t tell him. Seems like CY doesn’t know what to do when ES is pissed. (I love hopeless CY in front of ES she has him wrapped around her fingers)

Scene cuts to CY pulling ES hand to talk to her privately. He asks her, when did you meet him (DH)?
ES says a few days ago in the palace.
CY: Why did you not tell me?
ES: That is…..
Then CY orders Daeman to go to Lady Choi to report that DH is staying with GC. Then he turns to the Mugakshi and tells them that from now on, they have to report everything that ES says and does.
ES feels a little slighted.
CY: Did you not say that we should share everything and that's the kind of relationship you wanted?
ES: He came to the palace a few days ago bearing my journal. But I told him to Richard Simmons off and leave and that I did not need it.
CY Why did you not tell me?
ES: Because if I told you, you would have borne the responsibility for taking it back.
ES gets upset over this and proceeds to storm off.
CY looks at her confused or not understanding what she said. Then ES has a frightened look on her face and she turns around. CY checks to see who she is frightened of and sees Hwasoin and Eumja.

CY is back from killing the assassins. He goes to the meeting place that he and ES agrees to meet at once a day. He is wiping off the blood from his face and smelling himself for the scent of blood. A note: CY is a very perceptive person who actually registers everything that ES says and does.
He remembers her words about meeting as partners in this very location. He looks around and does not see her so he sits and rests.


SCENE CUTS to CY who is now back at the palace gardens.
CY is attempting to wipe the blood off from his hand and checking to see if he smells like blood. (OMO love Daejang is a goner. Everything ES does and says has been ingrained in his mind. He remembers ES does not like the smell of blood. This man’s attention to detail is amazing! Swoon )

CY pauses as he is walking and remembers ES asking him to meet her at the gazebo. He looks around for her and then sits down nearby exhausted and leans his head on his arm. (ES where are you? How can you forget your date with Daejang! He’s waiting of you and needs a shoulder to lean on again! Aishhh)

Recap continues....
ES walks into CY’s room and comments on how small it was. She asks CY to sit down but he replies that he needs to change and go see the king. ES says in a playful but stern voice trying to imitate him, “Right here in front of me.” (Every time I hear the word Yogi – I have to swoonnnnnnn)

She adds “If you are too far, I can’t see you. Do I have to get a royal order from the Queen that I can examine you anytime, as your personal physician?”
CY gives in to ES and does as told although a tad unwilling. (Ahhh ES soo cute. We all want to examine Daejang as well)

When they get to his room, she orders him to sit.
CY ignores her and says he has to get dressed because he has to see the king…. and is interrupted by ES with a make believe gruff voice:
Right here in front of me where I can see you. Should I go to the Queen and ask for an order that says the High doctor as Choi Young's personal physician has the authority to check him anytime. Should I do that?
CY looks at her and realizes there is no winning with this woman so he complies and sits.
ES asks him about the hand that was frozen while looking at it and he tries to take it back but ES holds on to it and she sees something, that must be the cut that he sustained because he had a bloodied hand when facing the Chilsal.
ES tells him to loosen his sleeve. CY looks at her intently for a bit (I wonder what he was thinking here.)

So ES treats his cut by suturing it without anesthesia (ouch!)
They have a conversation while she stitches him up. At the end, ES mentions that she is down to her last bandage that she brought with her.
CY looks at her. Then he mentions how he has someone watching out for the gate to report any signs of it opening. ES just nods to him. As she walks out, her gait must look different to CY so he asks her why. She lifts her pant leg to tell him that the knife he gave her is too heavy.
As she leaves, there is this look on CY's face that I cannot describe.

CY is in a different place waiting for the Chilsal.
He talks and says: Let's end it here. Right now you are doing this money which will be worth nothing if you die. He seems to be exhausted.
Then he continues talking:
There is someone I know, and to her, the most precious thing is living.
He is smiling as he narrates this (must be thinking of ES).
But you and I cannot understand that. To us, living is not dying.
But she is different. To her, her way of life is truly living, and it is invigorating.
And he kills another assassin.
That is why when I look at her, I think, wait, what am I doing?
CY is washing his bloodied hands with rainwater.
Another assassin appears and CY gets him.

i always thought that at that time
CY finally found out that this woman from heaven really care for him
after she left him now she's back just to help him
he know how she want to return to her world
but she throw it all including her life for his sake
all this time he's the one who always put his life to protect people
but now this woman -the woman he barely know and who he'd kidnapped- ready to sacrifice her life
he couldn't say anything because his heart was full of his feeling for ES
and when he saw her tears he feel guilty
because it's all because of him
he's the one who kidnapped her in the first place, get her hurt, get her kidnapped more and
now get her sacrifice her life
and all she can do just care for him and cry (look like it the first time someone cry for him)
that's why he promise he won't do such stupid act again
at first because he don't want her to feel sad
and second he don't want to feel those feeling (the guilty feeling) again

Lady Choi comes by and marvels in her usual gruff way that Heaven Doctor was able to save CY before committing to something futile & was surprised that there is someone in the world that could stop CY. He just complains there is so much to do and things gets complicated, besides killing KC, he has to take care of the assassins as well. Haha, Lady Court smack him on the head. Before Lady Choi lands another smack, CY said he had to seek refudge to those ministers coming for the sermon.

Lady Choi says she’ll try, and then asks what ES said to make him stop his crazy act. Did she use the law of heaven or something?
CY said: “Life. She puts up her life.” And she is too fearlessness cant distinguish earth and sky, that someone who supposedly hates the smell of blood just stuck a knife at her throat. CY sigh! All riled up and storms out, leaving Lady Choi gaping behind him.
